We Are Autism had the wonderful opportunity to take part in a community fundraiser event in Springfield, Massachusetts. This event allowed us to showcase our mission, connect with families, and raise funds for our upcoming We Are Autism Community Awareness & Support Event in Jamaica 2025.

Our table featured custom tumblers, awareness merchandise, and beautifully crafted raffle baskets—all created to support children and families on the autism spectrum. It was an uplifting day filled with conversations, education, and community support. Every person who stopped by, donated, or shared encouragement played a meaningful role in helping us bring hope and resources to families in Jamaica next year.

This event is one of many steps toward building stronger, more inclusive communities both in the U.S. and abroad.

Our Jamaica outreach highlighted a critical reality: adults with disabilities are frequently underserved and overlooked. At We Are Autism, we believe support, education, and community must extend beyond childhood and continue throughout adulthood.

This gathering strengthened our resolve to advocate for inclusive spaces, meaningful engagement, and sustained support for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers—at every stage of life

At our Jamaica outreach event, children were given the opportunity to participate in creative activities, play, and shared experiences alongside their peers. These moments reflect the importance of inclusive spaces where children feel safe to express themselves, build confidence, and simply be children.

At We Are Autism, we believe meaningful support starts with access, understanding, and environments that honor every child’s individuality.

“An amazing service”

At our event in Portland, Jamaica we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and appreciation.  So many parents, children, and community members came up to us with heartfelt thank-yous, hugs and kind words.Though most didn’t write their messages down, their voices and gratitude still echo in our hearts.  We’re honored to serve-and inspired to keep going.

A very special thank you to Courtney and Davine Wilson for graciously allowing us to host the event at your store. Your generosity and belief in our mission made this event possible. I am forever grateful.

From my heart to yours—thank you for being part of something truly meaningful.
